I’ve been writing software for almost three decades. Most of that time has been backends, infrastructure, and developer tooling. Go these days, plenty of other things before that.
I build AI agent workflows, CLI tools, deployment pipelines, and occasionally things nobody asked for, like a programming language with its own compiler and garbage collector.
I work at Lokalise as a Senior Software Engineer. This site is where I write about systems, tradeoffs, product engineering, and the unglamorous details that decide whether software survives production.
I have a Master’s degree in Physics. It has never once been directly relevant to my job, but it did teach me to distrust hand-waving explanations. That turned out to be useful.
The posts here are mostly things I built, broke, fixed, or got annoyed enough to explain. Opinionated, specific, and hopefully not a waste of your afternoon.
